DIVINE LOVE

Size: 36″x 42″
Medium: Charcoal & Oil
Meera Bai got liberated due to her unconditional love for the divine. She sung for Krishna and love flooded the whole surrounding. Krishna is feeling so happy to see her all soaked in love for him ,so pure and devotional she believed that , The material world we get attached to is nothing but an Illusion. She became so fearless of the society and Krishna guided her to eternal bliss.

RUHANIYAT

Size: 25″x25″
Medium: Charcoal & Acrylic
Ruhaniyat means purity of the soul. The painting shows that the person is in love with himself as he feels God resides in him and he does all in love with his soul. The melody he is playing on the flute is so pure that he can see his soul dancing in self love which to him is the divine love.

Melody Of Ghungroo

Size : 21″x27″
Medium : Mix medium
When I started this painting ,I was soaked in the melodious voice of ghungroos.I felt my love for dance and how the jhankaar of ghungroo somehow pulls me into that state when i feel oneness of my mind ,body and soul. The dancer in my art somewhere depicts my state ,the red dupatta shows me all soaked in love , feeling blissful amidst the melodious sounds of ghungroos.

Sunflower

Size: 11″×14.5″
Medium : Charcoal & Dry pastel
For the love of art!

Snow Leopard

Size: 21″×32″
Medium : Charcoal & Dry pastel
Caught the site of this creature on a wildlife channel.I loved it’s majestic appearance. The graceful walk on the snow the black spotted animal with blue eyes. It’s colour matched the sky and it’s reflection on the white snow all complementing each other. Loved putting it on the paper.Hope i did justice to the gods creation.

Blossoming Peace

Size: 20″×30″
Medium: Mix medium (Charcoal & Acrylic)
When the mind and heart are in synergy with each other both the chakras completely blossom ,one radiates love all around and can feel the bliss and be in this state as Buddha always is in: Peaceful. A glimpse of him gives so much peace that your eyes close by themselves with love and compassion.

The Enlightened One

Size: 30″×40″
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Buddha symbolised peace and harmony. Through this painting I wish to express the balancing male and female energy, as well as the correct balance of both creative, intuitive mindset and analytical mindset of the brain. The curls as represented to the golden touch talks about the control on your thoughts and positivity in one’s thoughts which all are must to achieve this state of enlightenment. I wish to express my gratitude to *’JVPD Rotary Group’* to give me an opportunity to make this piece which is going to be displayed at a fund raiser event as hosted by the *’JVPD Rotary Club.’

The Owl

Size:
Medium:
Owl has been an important symbol in different cultures around the world. In Indian mythology an Owl is a spiritual symbol. It’s a vaahen of goddess Lakshmi. A symbol of wisdom and knowledge . It is even symbolic of a new beginning and good luck. A touch of gold represents the self realisation , a hint by the divine for transformation in one’s life. Somewhere it resonates with my own life.

Delight

Size:
Medium:
I loved this tiger picture. The expression in his eyes, when he is seeing the pray close by is same delightful expression I get when I finalise the work I will take up next. It took me three weeks to finish it as its fur was a task for me to capture.Hope yo all like it. I just loved this one and is my favourite of all the works i have done till now.

Mumta

Size: 20″×30″
Medium: Oil on Canvas
When a mother holds her child in her arms she forgets all her worries and pains she is in bliss . I felt so when I held my little one in my arms . It is the third one from my serious “BLISS” Bliss is a feeling when someone feels the oneness with the divine power . Many struggle to get into that feeling . I felt it was easy to get into that state in our day to day life . Where all I got into Bliss was a question I asked myself and I got the answer in many things . I then started to paint those moments . My first painting was “Trance ” and the second was”Melody of Ghungroos” and this one is the third one I hope I have done justice to it and am able to capture the same feeling in my painting.

Radha Krishna

Size:
Medium:
Radha Krishna in Acrylic colours .

Sunset

Size: 11.5″×16″
Medium :Water colours
The slow pace of the movement of the boat gives an opportunity to enjoy the beauty around . The view of sunset is so blissful. The fast moving life on the bridge in contrast takes away this opportunity to be with the nature (the divine) The choice is yours ,what path you choose in your life.

Trance

Size: 20″×28″
Medium: Charcoal ,Inks & dry pastels
The state of consciousness (as of deep hypnosis) when a singer is one with the music so much so that the senses become numb and once back in a conscious state, does not have words to express her experience.

The Ghats of Varanasi

Size :19″×25″
Medium: Charcoal & soft pastel

Portrait of Lord Krishna

Medium: Watercolors and Ink
Hare Rama Hare Krishna!! .

Panther

Size: 21″x26″
Medium: Mixed Medium (Charcoal, Acrylic & Dry Pastels)
“Panther” also known as leopard and puma. An animal which symbolises both speed and power along with an essence of grace, allowing no one to take their eyes off it. I truly was mesmerised by it too, hence this my take for you!’

Gratitude

Size: 15″×24″
Medium:Charcoal & Water Colour pencil
Sri Sri Ravishankar is a Guiding angel to me. “GURU” is the light which holds us and brings us out of the darkness – surrounding us with endless knowledge, he shares with us. I can never display my gratitude enough, for how he held me and made me walk through the tough times with so much ease. My confidence in him was, is and will always be strong. My soul connection with him makes me feel one with him. I am sure many more souls can relate to this feeling and this piece of art , is for you all .

Lion (King of the Jungle)

Size:

Size: 11″×14.5″
Medium: Waterproof ink with charcoal
Channeling out my inner creativity with the help of a new medium! ✨

My experience with the process was tideous as these inks do tend to dry out quickly & are a difficult medium to handle. Playing with the depth and light effect was truly the highlight!

Hope and despair

Size:14″x21″
Medium: Charcoal
The beauty of meaning this work conveys. Hope is larger than despair. While hope brings a smile looking at the future with a gleam in the eyes. Despair is sadness of the reality of today, the eyes of sadness falling deep into regret of even being in existence. But even in despair there is a wait holding the head just that much high with a hope that may be hope is right about.

The-Present

Size 19″×23″
Medium : Charcoal
As modern day individuals, we tend to be insecure of what we haven’t achieved in our lives, and are on the perpetual hunt for more. Thus, we often fail to realise the importance of what we truly have in this moment, the present. With the pandemic affecting our daily lives, it feels like yesterday when the lockdown was imposed and we planned our self-development regimes for the extra time at hand, but time slips on. Instead of just letting them pass by, we can be aware of the present and can capitalize on the moment to mould it into something more meaningful and beautiful.

Tranquility

Size:
Medium: Charcoal & Dry Pastels.
Each child needs to be protected with some love and care. After all, they are the future of the world. Spread love and care

Sunset-Srilanka

Size :15″×24″
Medium: Charcoal & Dry Pastels.
Sun peeping through the clouds, 🌤️ Painting the sky with charming colours of joy, 🌈 Oh! This sun is so beautiful, It has painted the waves, the sand and the sky with its shine of light. ☀️🌊

The aura is so soothing, And the day is just ready to say goodbye!

Lord Shiva – ‘The God of Energy

Size :
Mediumm: Water Proof Inks
He is the representative of various principles of life, and my painting depicts that he is the only source which has the control over our *past, present & future*(as depicted by Trishul in his hand). It is always said that one should live in ‘surrender’ to him & ‘be fearless’ knowing his power ,deep within (as depicted by the leopard skin he is seen wearing on his body). One may ‘possess good ego’ which can be worn like a garland(as represented by the snake around his neck). The cosmic energy, (through the cosmic sounds as shown by the damru) is felt which helps us regulate ourselves according to the day & night. *OM NAMAH SHIVAY*🙏🏻
